Description

Due to the opening of the country and the economic reforms, Uzbekistan is recording post-Covid growth of around 7%. Long-delayed investments in the country's infrastructure are being made up for, not least with the help of numerous IFIs operating in the country. Priority sectors and topics such as health and water correspond to the core competencies of the Swiss economy. Uzbekistan therefore offers great export potential: supply meets demand.

At the same time, competition is fierce and growing. China, Turkey, the Gulf States and the EU in particular have an enormous economic presence and activity. The aim of THE SWISS DAYS is to promote Swiss companies in this competitive market with the motto: "Quality. Innovation. Reliability." to support their positioning.

Feedback from past Swiss Days shows that the project is perceived as a valuable platform for Swiss and Liechtenstein companies to strengthen their perception in Uzbekistan.
