Start in Block is the flagship startup competition at Paris Blockchain Week that brings together early-stage Web3 founders from around the world to compete for more than $10 million in funding, grants, credits, mentorship, and other prizes while gaining exposure with top investors and ecosystem partners.

The competition is designed for innovative blockchain and Web3 startups less than five years old with under $5 million in total funding. From a large global applicant pool, a pre-screening process selects the top 100 startups for investor review, with around a dozen finalists earning the chance to pitch their company live on stage at the main event in Paris before a jury of leading investors and industry experts.

Participants in this event benefit from high-visibility networking, direct interaction with venture capitalists, angel investors, and ecosystem funds, and the opportunity to showcase their product within the dedicated startup zone and protocol village during the week’s programming.
