Q‑Hackathon is part of the Q-Summit in Mannheim.

Q-Summit is a student-driven entrepreneurship and innovation conference that brings together founders, startups, investors, students, and corporate leaders to exchange ideas and build meaningful connections. The event focuses on innovation, technology, and personal development, featuring keynote talks, panel discussions, workshops, and startup pitching formats that highlight real world insights from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts.

Q-Summit Hackathon is a time boxed build sprint where participants team up to solve real world challenges provided by partner organizations, moving from idea to working prototype under intense collaboration. Participation is open to people with a passion for technology and problem solving, with teams forming either in advance or on site and support designed for both experienced builders and first time hackathon participants.

A competition format rewards strong creativity, impact, and execution, with a cash prize pool and additional non cash prizes plus event merchandise. Finalists present solutions in a pitch battle in front of a large audience and an expert jury, receiving direct feedback while building connections with ambitious students, potential founders, and industry professionals, plus perks such as conference access, afterparty access, and on site support like catering and accommodation.
