MANER Conference 2025 Mainz

Description

Following three successful editions, we are pleased to announce the fourth edition of the MANER Conference – the Material Appearance Network for Education & Research. MANER serves as a forum for researchers in academia and industry who are interested in material appearance. It is typically co-located as a workshop or sub-conference with larger events, such as the Color & Imaging Conference (Scottsdale, AZ, 2022), the London Imaging Meeting (London, UK, 2023), and the Eurographics Symposium on Rendering and Material Appearance Modeling (London, UK, 2024).

Conference Themes:
We are looking for contributions on a range of topics, including (but not limited to):
- Physics & Perception of material appearance (colorimetry, texture, gloss, etc.)
- Simulation & Rendering techniques for material appearance
- Machine Learning & computer vision in material appearance analysis
- Applications in 3D printing, automotive finishes, cosmetics, and more!
- Material Appearance in VR/AR/XR
