The International Conference on Payments and Securities Settlement is a research conference to be held at the Conference Centre of Deutsche Bundesbank in Eltville am Rhein, Germany on 18 and 19 June 2026. It is organised together with the Bank of Canada and brings together academic and central bank researchers, policymakers and practitioners to discuss recent economic research on developments, challenges and opportunities in payments and securities settlement systems and the data and information these systems generate.

The conference invites submissions of theoretical, empirical or policy-oriented research papers that explore topics such as the role of digital money and tokenisation in payment systems, evolution of traditional payment systems, safety and resilience of payment and settlement infrastructures, advanced use of payment and settlement data and the application of artificial intelligence in payments. Authors are welcome to submit extended abstracts and full papers aimed at advancing understanding of data and information in payment and settlement contexts.
