The Fintech Foundation has been launched to enhance public understanding of financial technology, innovation, and inclusion, positioning itself as a nonprofit hub for education, collaboration, and policy engagement. Drawing on years of experience bringing together regulators, industry leaders, and academics, the Foundation aims to create more opportunities for meaningful dialogue and knowledge-sharing on the transformative impact of technology in finance. By fostering year-round programs and global initiatives, it seeks to bridge the gap between private sector innovation and public policy, ensuring that advancements in finance benefit a broad spectrum of society.

Central to this mission is the debut of Finchella 2025, an expanded event inspired by the success of DC Fintech Week. Scheduled for October 14–17, 2025, the free-to-attend program will offer working groups, in-depth sessions, and curated discussions across multiple venues, starting at Amazon’s HQ2 in Arlington, Virginia. With a focus on accessibility and inclusivity, Finchella will provide a platform for participants worldwide to engage with leading voices in finance and technology, continuing the Foundation’s legacy of fostering informed, collaborative conversations that shape the future of the industry.
