Sustainable Finance is under scrutiny. Across the globe, governments are considering paring down sustainability rules, or abandoning them altogether, while companies ponder whether to ditch β€œESG” labels, or some of their letters. Too often, the discussion oversimplifies, treating climate and competitiveness, environmental and social, sustainability and geopolitics as polar opposites. We need a more nuanced discussion. Sustainability opens a space for gathering new data and intelligence, which can be a lever for nimbler companies, safer banks, and smarter supervisors.

This conference seeks a meaningful debate over the tensions and complementarities. It will be structured in three panels, covering the above topics.
