As the EU enters a new institutional cycle, the emphasis on simplification offers a strategic opportunity to enhance industrial competitiveness, reduce regulatory fragmentation, and unlock growth across Europe. Digital finance — enabled by blockchain, tokenisation, and emerging infrastructure — can serve as a powerful driver for the EU’s energy transition, innovation capacity, and reindustrialisation goals.
​This high-level dialogue will explore how simplification of rules, funding instruments, and digital tools can be used to scale Europe’s industrial strategy, with particular focus on energy resilience, web3 entrepreneurship, and sovereign digital infrastructure. The event is hosted under the patronage of MEP Borys Budka, Chair of the ITRE Committee.
