Events happen everywhere, all the time, and staying up to date is a time-consuming challenge. The problem lies in the fragmented nature of events and individual interests of users. You may have to search across multiple websites, review outdated information, follow social media accounts, join countless mailing lists, and rely on recommendations just to find out about events that are crucial to your career or business. That's where YARD wants to help.
YARD is a platform aggregating finance and business events for its users. All calendars and products of YARD are connected to each other. Events entering YARD are automatically visible in all connected calendars and users can be informed about them through their desired communication channels.

Various partners support YARD to build, maintain and grow its event sharing ecosystem, including the event publication features and calendar integration options. As a result, relevant events will become available to a much bigger audience on thousands of websites and other distribution channels.

Here is what you will be able to do with YARD:
- Anyone can discover relevant events, get benefits for attending them, or submit missing events through a variety of publication methods.
- As an attendee of events, you can join the ambassador program to unlock exclusive perks and benefits, ensuring you get the most out of every event.
- If you have a financial or business community, you can integrate a Yard Calendar into your website. This way you can keep your own audience informed about important events in the industry, without having to spend time or money to research events on your own.
- As an event publisher, you can publish all of your events through YARD for reaching new target audiences. By also joining as a Media Partner, you can highlight your event in Yard Calendars to attract people to your events.

The plan: Connecting event calendars
YARD is working on connecting events as well as users with each other. By doing so, it will be easier for anyone to deal with events through your preferred communication channels. That's important, because right now it is:
- difficult to find relevant events;
- time-consuming to register for events;
- tough to find relevant people before, during or after events;
- clunky to exchange contact data with relevant people on events; and
- hard to follow up with people you find interesting.
YARD believes that these issues stem from coordination problems, as most information already exists somewhere in a digital format. That's why YARD wants to connect relevant data sources with each other.
